I live in Saint Louis, MO with my loving husband Nick, our adorable son Xander, and our wonderful dog Kali. Nick & I met in 1999, got engaged in 2002, and tied the knot in 2003. We’ve lived in Gainesville, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Mont Vernon, NH, and now Missouri. We’re expert movers! All the moving is due to Nick’s job. He’s currently the Assistant Brewmaster of a brew house here in STL. Meanwhile, I’m working as a stay-at-home-mom. It’s the hardest job I’ve ever had! Kali is unemployed and enjoys sleeping on the couch while Nick & I are hard at work. Xander loves to play outdoors with his sandbox and wagon, and enjoys his morning runs in the jogging stroller.
We enjoy Gator football and basketball and in our spare time we definitely keep busy with our many interests. Nick plays volleyball, golf, and is, in general, a workaholic (he always has a beer in his hand). I enjoy playing with my baby and pup, working on my multiple websites, designing graphics, and planning our next vacation. I’ve traveled to 3 continents, 10 countries, 7 Caribbean islands, and the Bahamas. I hope to see the world with Nick & Xander before I die. Next up: Mommy goes to New Zealand in February 2009!

I saw your post on the labor board of babycenter.com and thought I’d check out your website. You and Nick sound so much like me and my husband, especially with your reasons for deciding to take the plunge and get pregnant. I’m due March 22nd with my first, also a boy. We live in Tampa, Florida. I totally agree with your top ten things you miss about your pre-pregnant life– for me I’d just put Chianti at the top of the list rather than apple martinis. Oh yeah, and I’d really like to stop belching too! Good luck with Xander, I hope your labor and delivery go smoothly!
